Duties & Responsibilities
Implement policies and plans approved by the Board of Directors within the Chamber
Distribute executive tasks among departments and divisions according to decisions and responsibilities
Transform the Board's directions and strategies into actionable work plans
Monitor workflow across all departments to ensure efficiency and regulatory compliance
Participate in preparing estimated budgets, tracking expenses, and analyzing financial performance
Work to improve revenues and strengthen the Chamber's financial sustainability
Oversee staff affairs including recruitment, training, and performance evaluation
Build a professional and motivating work environment that contributes to institutional development
Represent the Chamber in official meetings, forums, and internal and external engagements
Submit periodic reports to the Board Chairman on general performance, results, and challenges
Address operational challenges and delegate tasks to staff according to their departments and responsibilities
Participate in high-level steering and technical committees related to economic development
Contribute to identifying the economic sectors most in need of and responsive to recovery programs
Provide relevant institutions and ministries with data and studies related to the Middle Province
Strengthen networking with internal and external entities and decision-making centers
Work to provide tangible facilities and services to General Assembly members affiliated with the Chamber
Act as a liaison between the Board of Directors and the General Assembly
Monitor economic developments and the needs of the private sector in the Middle Province
Chamber Administrative Departments
The Chamber comprises specialized departments and units working in integration to organize internal operations, deliver services to members, and strengthen the Chamber's role in serving the private sector
Administrative Affairs
Follow up on recruitment and appointment matters according to the Chamber's needs
Supervise employee attendance and ensure compliance with working hours and schedules
Follow up on employee leaves and administrative assignments
Maintain and organize employee files and records according to approved administrative procedures
Monitor the implementation of internal regulations and rules related to work and professional conduct
Supervise maintenance and cleanliness operations within Chamber facilities
Monitor the Chamber's administrative and logistical service needs
Organize hospitality and facility services to ensure an appropriate and organized work environment
Follow up on Chamber publications and administrative materials
Coordinate with the General Manager to determine the Chamber's workforce and human resource needs
Public Services
Receive visitors and Chamber members and direct them to required services
Follow up on registration and membership procedures according to approved processes
Update member and establishment data on a regular basis
Archive and organize member files both physically and electronically
Issue membership certificates and official letters for members
Issue commercial identity cards and various membership cards
Authenticate signatures and documents according to applicable regulations
Issue certificate of origin transactions for members
Receive, facilitate, and follow up on permit requests and transactions related to member services
Maintain constant direct communication with members and provide necessary guidance
Invite members to participate in Chamber events and activities
Maintain and update member lists to serve the Chamber's operations and services
Financial Affairs & Membership Services
Manage the Chamber's financial affairs and monitor revenues and expenses
Record daily accounting transactions according to the approved financial system
Monitor fund operations and financial collection for services and subscriptions
Prepare periodic, monthly, and annual financial reports
Follow up on employee salaries and financial entitlements
Monitor bank accounts and carry out necessary financial reconciliations
Organize and monitor procurement and tender operations for the Chamber
Follow up on financial membership services including subscriptions and renewals
Support the membership services center in financial and administrative aspects related to members
Contribute to controlling financial performance and enhancing resource management efficiency
Business Development
Support business owners and entrepreneurs in developing their establishments and improving performance
Provide consulting services in management, marketing, production, and institutional development
Analyze the needs of existing projects and identify improvement and growth opportunities
Implement specialized training programs according to the needs of Chamber members and the business community
Promote a culture of entrepreneurship and encourage new economic initiatives
Provide guidance to small and medium enterprise owners
Monitor labor market needs and link them to training and employment opportunities
Manage the employment corner and contribute to matching job opportunities with job seekers
Prepare studies and reports that help understand the state of economic sectors
Support businesswomen and enhance their participation in economic life
Incubate entrepreneurial initiatives that contribute to private sector development
Trade Promotion
Work to enhance trade activity in the Middle Province
Encourage traders and business owners to participate in local and international exhibitions
Organize and follow up on participation in trade fairs and events
Provide guidance in import, export, and foreign trade
Organize trade delegations and connect business owners with cooperation and partnership opportunities
Build relationships with chambers of commerce and local and international economic institutions
Network Palestinian businesspeople with their counterparts abroad
Support the presence of Middle Province products in markets and exhibitions
Contribute to opening new communication channels for traders and business owners
Information Technology
Manage the Chamber's networks, software, and technical systems
Prepare the technical infrastructure needed for developing administrative work and electronic services
Follow up on updates and maintenance of computers and internal networks
Develop electronic services to facilitate member access to Chamber services
Manage databases related to members, transactions, and internal systems
Ensure confidentiality and security of data and information within the Chamber
Monitor the Chamber's website and update its content in coordination with relevant departments
Develop computing and digital transformation mechanisms within the Chamber
Implement backup procedures and information protection
Provide technical support to staff and various departments
Media & Public Relations
Strengthen the Chamber's institutional image locally and externally
Manage the Chamber's media and communication channels
Monitor Chamber news and activities and publish them through appropriate channels
Manage social media platforms and update them with official content
Build effective relationships with media, official, and civil institutions
Organize events and meetings that enhance the Chamber's presence and community role
Prepare Chamber news, statements, and media materials
Follow up on Chamber publications, reports, and informational bulletins
Highlight the Chamber's role in serving the private sector and economic development
Support communication between the Chamber, its members, the public, and partner institutions
Businesswomen Unit
Strengthen women's role in economic life and raise awareness about their participation
Provide entrepreneurship programs to help women's projects succeed
Organize events and provide specialized training programs for businesswomen
Incubate women's initiatives for establishing their own projects
