Middle Governorate Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture Holds a Coordination Meeting with Al-Maghazi and Al-Masdar Municipalities to Discuss Joint Cooperation

Today, Thursday, October 1, 2026, at the headquarters of the Middle Governorate Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture, a joint coordination meeting was held bringing together the President and representatives of the Chamber of Commerce, the Mayor of Al-Maghazi, and representatives from Al-Masdar Municipality. This comes within the framework of expanding coordination horizons and building bridges of joint cooperation to support local markets and discuss developmental and service needs in the region.
The meeting aimed to discuss ways to enhance partnership between the Chamber of Commerce and the municipalities, address the service and humanitarian reality in the areas of Al-Maghazi and Al-Masdar, and explore mechanisms capable of accelerating the local economy and revitalizing commercial activity under current circumstances.
During the meeting, the main challenges facing both municipalities were reviewed in light of the mounting pressure on infrastructure and basic services resulting from current conditions and the increasing number of displaced persons, in addition to discussing requirements to support citizens' resilience and provide necessary needs for markets and various sectors.
Attendees discussed the importance of unifying joint efforts to establish a complementary vision that contributes to alleviating the suffering of residents, and determining intervention priorities and urgent needs during the upcoming phase to serve the interests of both citizens and merchants alike.
At the close of the meeting, it was agreed to continue close communication and coordination between the Chamber of Commerce, Al-Maghazi Municipality, and Al-Masdar Municipality, and to follow up on joint steps to enhance effective cooperation and meet urgent developmental needs in the Middle Governorate.
